For this project, CADG constructed and operated a 200-person tented camp to support oil and gas operations in East Africa. The scope of work included the design and erection of housing, hygiene, recreational, medical, and dining facilities. The project also required the construction of office accommodations, workshops, and security site access controls.
CADG provided all water and electrical utility infrastructure. Where possible, CADG implemented sustainable and eco-friendly solutions, such as solar water heaters and a biodigester plant for waste. Additionally, CADG sourced nearly 70% of the total labor required for the project from neighboring areas.
After the project team completed the camp construction, CADG performed all ongoing facility management and maintenance needed for operations. This involved supplying provisions and labor for catering, housekeeping, security, and transportation. CADG also supplied 37 OGP-compliant vehicles equipped with drivers qualified in defensive driving techniques.
